Glamping Central Coast

Luxury domes, safari tents, and a family retreat in the Dooralong Valley - the quiet side of the Central Coast

Check Availability

Most people think of the Central Coast as beaches, fish and chips, and Terrigal. Head west past Wyong, follow the road into the Dooralong Valley, and the landscape completely changes — horse paddocks, bushland ridgelines, and a quiet you do not expect this close to civilisation. Unwind Escapes is right in the middle of it. A private property with a redwood grove, a pine forest that looks like it belongs in Canada, and a cricket oval with mountains behind it. Four unique stays, all solar-powered, all pet-friendly, and built for people who already live on the Coast and want somewhere local that actually feels like a getaway.

Where You Will Stay

The Hidden Side of the Central Coast

The Dooralong Valley is one of those places locals talk about in hushed tones — mostly because they do not want it to get too busy. It is the western hinterland of the Coast, behind the ridgeline, where the suburbs stop and the farmland starts. Our property has been here for decades, originally a cricket club, and the oval is still at the centre of everything. Around it: a pine forest planted in the 1960s, a grove of dawn redwood trees that turn golden and amber in autumn, and enough native bush for the kangaroos and wallabies to come and go as they please. At night, you are far enough from the coastal strip that the stars are genuinely impressive.
