About the Serene Family Retreat
The Serene Family Retreat is a renovated studio inside the property's historic clubhouse, built for families and small groups who want space, comfort, and character. A queen bed and two single beds sleep up to four, with a couch, kitchenette, Smart TV, full-length mirror, curtains, and air conditioning.
Step out onto the undercover balcony, sink into the hanging hammock chair, and look out over the grounds. The smart lock makes check-in completely contactless, so you can arrive on your own time and settle straight in.
Inside the clubhouse you'll find the original bar from Sydney's 1978 Hilton Hotel, now filled with sporting memorabilia, plus a pool/snooker table and a lounge entertainment area. The shared kitchen has everything you need for a proper meal, from the six-burner Matador BBQ to a full oven and coffee machine.
Outside, the kids can run free on the expansive oval (a former cricket ground), explore the dawn redwood grove and pine forest fairy garden, or follow the trail down to Jilliby Creek. It's the kind of place where everyone finds their own way to unwind, just 90 minutes from Sydney.

"The instructions to get to the property were great. Very responsive host. Nice tucked away ex cricket ground. Plenty of wallabies around. We managed to spot a deer at the LOVE sign on our last night which was cool. You can BYO wood and s'mores but it might be easier buying the campfire package thru the hosts online shop."

- Property boundary ends at the shed on the hilltop; please do not enter neighbouring land
- Clean shared amenities after use; do not touch other guests' food or belongings in shared spaces
- No fireworks, firearms, or explosives permitted
- No drinks on the pool table; return cues and balls after play
- Public and shared areas are monitored by security cameras
- All guests must sign the guest waiver before check-in
- Check-in: 3:00 PM (contactless smart lock, 24-hour access)
