About The Nest
The Nest is our flagship 7-metre geodesic dome and the most immersive stay at Unwind Escapes. Floor-to-ceiling glass sliding doors open straight into bushland, framing wallabies, kookaburras, and possums as your natural entertainment.
Inside, a plush king bed faces the panoramic view, backed by a timber feature wall. A 65-inch smart TV with Govee backlighting, soundbar and subwoofer is there for movie nights when you finally come in from the fire pit. The modular lounge converts to a queen bed, making this dome ideal for couples or small families.
Your own private fire pit sits just steps from the dome entrance, with seating for four under the stars. Split-system air conditioning, StarLink WiFi, a coffee machine, and a mini-fridge with freezer mean you have everything you need without ever leaving your dome.
Beyond The Nest, the full Unwind Escapes property is yours to explore: a historic clubhouse with a pool/snooker table and the original bar from Sydney's 1978 Hilton Hotel, a six-burner BBQ area, a dawn redwood grove, pine forest fairy garden, and scenic nature walks.

- Quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM daily
- Pets welcome — must be on a leash or supervised at all times due to wildlife, horses, and other guests on site
- Children require constant adult supervision (unfenced areas and horses nearby)
- No vehicles on the grass; use designated parking areas only
- Property boundary ends at the shed on the hilltop; please do not enter neighbouring land
- Clean shared amenities after use; do not touch other guests' food or belongings in shared spaces
- No fireworks, firearms, or explosives permitted
- No drinks on the pool table; return cues and balls after play
- Public and shared areas are monitored by security cameras
- All guests must sign the guest waiver before check-in
- Check-in: 3:00 PM (contactless smart lock, 24-hour access)
