Geodesic Dome Glamping in NSW
Two domes, two experiences. Both 90 minutes from Sydney, both with private fire pits, both built for the kind of stay you actually remember.
You have probably seen dome stays on Instagram. Most of them look incredible in photos and then feel a bit underwhelming in person — a tent with a view and not much else. Our domes are different. Both are proper geodesic structures designed for Australian conditions, with private fire pits, air conditioning, and views that earn their keep. The difference is character. The Nest is the new flagship — bigger, with floor-to-ceiling glass doors, a king bed, and a hidden cinema behind a timber feature wall. The Burrow is the original — smaller, more cocoon-like, with clear PVC panoramic windows that frame the oval and the mountains beyond. Whichever you choose, you walk down from the deck to your own fire pit and call it a night under a sky dark enough to see the Milky Way.

View & bookInside The Nest
The Nest is the dome you build when you have spent three years learning what guests actually want. It is a 7-metre geodesic structure tucked beneath a natural archway of flowering trees, with floor-to-ceiling glass sliding doors that pull back across the front of the dome and bring the bushland straight into the room. The bed is a plush king with reading lamps and bedside tables wired with wireless chargers, USB ports and Australian outlets — set against a timber slat feature wall lit with ambient lighting that runs floor to ceiling.
Behind the feature wall is the part you do not see in the photos straight away — a dedicated cinema flex-space with a 65-inch smart TV, Govee screen-matching backlights, soundbar and subwoofer. Cast from your phone, watch your shows in surround sound, and when the night is done, the modular lounge converts into a full-length queen bed for friends or kids. Two hanging egg chairs, a plush bean bag, and festoon lighting overhead. Outside on the grass, a private fire pit with seating for four sits beneath the trees.

Inside The Burrow
The Burrow is the original. Built by KingDomes — Australian-made and engineered for all seasons — it is a proper geodesic structure with clear PVC panoramic windows at the front that frame the view from your queen bed across the deck, past the fire pit and onto the historic oval with the mountains behind. Smaller and more intimate than The Nest. The kind of room you sink into.
Inside, the AC is already on. There is a fridge, a coffee station, a hanging wardrobe, and a hanging chair in the corner that you will probably end up reading in for longer than you planned. Step outside onto the deck and there is a daybed, bar seating, and then you walk down to your own private fire pit.
- Clear PVC panoramic windows looking across the deck, fire pit and oval
- Queen bed with quality linen
- Full air conditioning — heating and cooling, year-round
- Fridge, coffee station, and hanging space for clothes

Staying in the Dome was an absolute dream come true! Everything was spotless, and having access to the kitchen made the stay even more comfortable. A lovely surprise was meeting Ronnie, a beautiful and friendly horse who kept us company. Being surrounded by nature and wildlife was so good for the soul.
This was a lovely get away for me and my wife for her birthday. Was peaceful, the aircon was perfection and everything went smoothly. The host was very informative and we would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to have an amazing time.
I had a wonderful couple of days in the dome just myself and my little dog. Very comfortable bed, clean and welcoming. Nice amenities including a fridge, ample heating and a comfy hanging chair. My absolute favourite part was having a fire pit to myself.
The horses were so cute and friendly. Was amazing that I could bring my doggo along as well. The AC definitely saved us on some 30°C days so thankful for that.
The place was amazing, the view was great waking up. Common area was set up amazing, had everything needed for a beautiful birthday getaway.
