Pet-Friendly Glamping in NSW
Because the best escapes are the ones you do not have to leave them behind for
Check AvailabilityYou start planning a weekend away and the first question is always: what do we do with the dog? Kennels feel awful. Leaving them with a friend means owing someone a favour. And most places that say "pet-friendly" really just mean they tolerate dogs. We are 90 minutes from Sydney in the Dooralong Valley on the Central Coast, and your dog is genuinely welcome in any of our four stays. There is a small $50 pet fee per booking — that is it.
Now picture it from their perspective. The car door opens and every smell is new — eucalyptus, damp earth, horse paddocks, something a kangaroo left behind. There are forest trails to sniff through on a morning walk, an open oval surrounded by mountains, and evenings by the fire pit where they can curl up at your feet while you watch the stars come out. This is their kind of holiday.
Morning Walk at Unwind Escapes
Wake up in the safari tent, step out onto the deck with your dog, past the fire pit, through the forest and out onto the oval.

View & bookWhat It Is Actually Like Glamping With Your Dog Here
The property sits on a wide-open cricket oval surrounded by mountains, with a dawn redwood grove and a pine forest planted in the 1960s. There are bushwalks straight from your stay, and in the evenings you will be sitting by the fire pit watching the stars come out — the sky here is properly dark, no city glow. In the morning, take them through the pine forest before the rest of the world wakes up. We do have horses and native wildlife on the property, so we ask that dogs are kept on a leash or under supervision at all times — you are responsible for your dog during your stay, but there is no shortage of space to explore together.
- Dogs on leash or under supervision at all times — you are responsible for your dog
- Bushwalks and forest trails straight from your stay
- $50 pet fee per booking
- Fire pit evenings with your dog at your feet
- Dark skies and stargazing from the daybed or fire pit
- Dawn redwood grove and pine forest for morning walks
- Free Starlink WiFi across the property
- Firewood and s'mores kits from the on-site shop
- 100% solar-powered

What Our Guests (and Their Dogs) Say
All reviews from verified Airbnb guests who brought their dogs
I booked a last-minute trip to get out of Sydney with my dog and stayed in the dome, it was such a cool and unique experience. The amenities were clean, well looked after, and everything felt thoughtfully set up. The shared hang-out areas were really lovely and made the stay even more enjoyable. I'll definitely be back.
This is a really lovely place to stay — especially for couples like us with a big dog. It's usually hard to find a property that allows dogs to freely walk and explore such a large farm area, but this one was perfect. We went in winter, and one of the highlights was setting up the firewood — it made the experience even more cozy and fun. Highly recommend!
Staying in the Dome was an absolute dream come true! Everything was spotless, and having access to the kitchen made the stay even more comfortable. A lovely surprise was meeting Ronnie, a beautiful and friendly horse. It was just my dog and me, and I felt completely at ease the entire time. Being surrounded by nature and wildlife was so good for the soul.
Had an amazing time glamping with my partner and our dog! The place was peaceful and cozy, and we loved how pet-friendly it was. The horse on the property was super friendly too — such a lovely experience overall! Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway.
I had a wonderful couple of days in the dome just myself and my little dog. Dogs were very welcome. Very comfortable bed, clean and welcoming. My absolute favourite part was having a fire pit to myself. The wood is extra, but well worth it and everything you need to get it going and keep it burning for a few hours was included.
We had a fabulous stay at this magical location. We initially booked this accommodation as it was one of the only dog-friendly places we could find. However, we definitely want to return... and spend a lot more time.
Stayed here for 1 night after a day of hiking with my dog. Beautiful location, and amenities with wildlife around. Cannot fault, and would recommend to everyone. Would stay here again.
We really enjoyed staying at the glamping dome! The place was as described, very beautiful and peaceful. My dog also loved it! We already can't wait to come back!
